Nations has designed this three year program, with a residential program for 24 weeks out of each year. During the remainder of the year students are expected to work with approved preceptor midwives, either in their home area or on assignment in another area. The location of the first and last years are in El Paso, Texas. With the second year being in a location with a higher birth volume. That may be in the USA or another nation. This will be announced several weeks (or months) before the second year begins to give students adequate preparation time. Student are expected to have passports and any required travel documentation before the second year program begins.
Students have a series of courses and dive deeper in their knowledge, skills and understanding with each program. Students are expected to begin with the Doula Seminar since it is an excellent introduction into midwifery and becoming part of a "Birth Team". Students that have already taken a doula workshop may submit documentation of their course and upon acceptance, enter the midwifery school.

Doula Seminar (1 week didactic + 1-2 weeks Field Assignment)
Health Care & Midwife Assistant (12 weeks Didactic + 12 weeks Field Assignment)
